At home in the wilderness

Named after the nearby mountain, Croiscrag, which means the palace of sacred stones, was originally built in the 15th century as a shooting lodge and accommodation for the ghillie, cook and water bailif. The property has been extensively refurbished to the highest standard by local craftspeople to celebrate its long history and reflect its natural surroundings.

Sympathetic to the context and imbued with a modern aesthetic, our cottages blend arts and crafts antique pieces with design classics and modern items, creating a warm and vibrant home in the wilderness you'll want to come back to again and again.
